With the festive season fast approaching, InterContinental Bali Resort announces its Christmas and New Year program with an array of tropical celebrations taking place on the beautiful beachfront at Jimbaran Bay. With numerous restaurants to choose from, this holiday season will see everything from traditional Christmas cuisine, Indonesian banquets, live entertainment, culturally-inspired activities and more taking place at this favourite Jimbaran getaway.

Christmas holidays are all about family; it’s when Bali fills up with family holiday-goers looking to enjoy time together, meals together, experiences together. This year the InterContinental Bali Resort, dining plays an integral part of Christmas festivities.  The celebrations start on Christmas Eve, where the resort has prepared Christmas Cocktails and Carols by their Balinese Bathing Pool. Enjoy complimentary cocktails while enjoying Christmas carols performed by the children of Panti Salam Orphanage. You’ll also be given a chance to give back with a souvenir exhibition and live demonstration by the Widya Asih Orphanage (5-6pm).

For Christmas Eve Dinner, enjoy a delectable 5-course dinner with Italian festive flair at the resort’s Bella Cucina, with live jazz music to set the scene (7-10pm, IDR 1,500,000nett/person including aperitif). For those after a big feast can head to Taman Gita for an international Christmas buffet dinner (6.30pm-11pm, IDR 1,300,000nett/person). Except a huge range of food with a Japanese live station, decadent selection of hot and cold seafood dishes, aromatic Asian dishes and a Live carving station with Maple glazed Christmas ham on the bone, Traditional roast turkey with game jus, Greek style roast lamb leg with tzatziki and Roast beef with horseradish cream. 

As Christmas Day dawns, InterContinental Bali Resort invites you to enjoy it in true Bali style — with a tropical Picnic Breakfast served on the white sand beach. Now that’s a Christmas to remember! Santa Claus will also be making his rounds around the resort for the children, arriving to the island by boat at the Main Pool Deck to share Christmas cheer with the kids.  Of course Christmas Lunch is the tradition which the resort is adding a slight twist to with a decadent Gourmet Brunch. Enjoy a 5-course menu at Bella Cucina, with Mushroom veloute caviar, Chicken confit terrine feves , Pan roasted barramundi fillet, and Chocolate fondant with raspberry coulis and seasonal berries. Christmas Dinner will also be taking place at Bella Cucina, with a traditional Christmas feast with all the trimmings (7-9pm, IDR 1,500,000nett/person). 

The InterContinental Bali Resort is pulling out all the stops for New Year’s Eve, looking to leave 2018 with a bang and ring in 2019 with pomp! Every restaurant in resort will be preparing unique dining experiences for you to choose from: Taman Gita will put together a generous family buffet dinner, laden with tasty Balinese and Indonesian specialties for those who love a local flavour. This will be topped off with an enthralling live Balinese dance performance. (6.30pm-11.30pm, IDR 1,500,000 nett/person, 6-12YO 50% off).  KO Restaurant, Teppanyaki & Cocktail Lounge will be serving up exquisite Japanese delights, with their full range of a la carte menu available.  Italian restaurant Bella Cucina will once again be preparing a sublime 5-course menu, featuring hot smoked apple wood salmon, Braised Beef Cheek cepe risotto port wine jus and brioche, and Individual Pavlova with mango lime and passion fruit.
