This coming October 21st will see a delicious collaboration at The Legian Bali’s The restaurant, where renowned resident Chef Luke Macleod will collaborate with guest Chef Darren Teoh to present an eight-course set menu that will guarantee to satisfy even the most discerning taste buds. Australian-born Chef Luke Macleod brings with him strong passion and creativity in the culinary arts to his role as Executive Chef at The Legian Bali. With over 15 years’ of international experience under his belt, his previous tenures include several notable restaurants in France and Asia, such as the three Michelin-starred Lucas Carton in Paris, two Michelin-starred Restaurant Senderens in Paris (home of nouvelle cuisine), three-star Michelin Le Pres d’Eugenie les Bains in SW France, and the two Michelin- starred Sa.Qua.Na in Honfleur.

The cerebral chef Darren Teoh of Dewakan has always been ahead of the curve. His menu, a concoction of all that is familiar and yet is wholly new, is extrapolated from our shared gastronomic heritage using the finest, freshest ingredients from our local lands: some are seasonal, some foraged and some are ignored, no longer familiar to the national palate, and remain in the archives of our cultural heritage and childhood memories. An evening at Dewakan make for a modern Malaysian dining experience, drawing from Darren’s clarity and coherence in manifesting his passion for produce, and respect for the integrity of ingredients and terroir.
