Meet Richard Bias, W Bali's New Director of Culinary

Combining different flavour through the grill, he is expected to bring his expertise with fresh and innovative ideas on the table. Growing up in a country pub in UK, Richard Bias found his love for cooking when he started to help his mum around the kitchen. He was then worked for a number of hotel and restaurant kitchens around the country, including 1-Michelin star restaurant in Belgravia. The chef’s 20 years’ experience in the culinary industry rewards him with achievements and accolades, such as Runner Up for Gordon Ramsay Scholarship 2001 and finalist in Academy Culinary Arts Awards of Excellence 2000, and not to mention numerous medals at Salon Culinaire’s in Dubai and London.
