The Dining Hut of Mandapa

Meaning “hut” or “shelter” in Indonesian, Kubu is the signature restaurant at Mandapa. Harbouring that perfect Ubud ambience, with tropical breezes and soothing sounds of running water, this unique bamboo construction offers an incredibly intimate dining space.

With nine private cocoons overlooking the Ayung River, diners will enjoy fine Mediterranean-European cuisine, with the option to enjoy either a sophisticated a-la-carte options or specially tailored degustation menus.

An extensive list of European wines is available to compliment the restaurant’s signature dishes such as “Foie Gras Wafer” (with lemon, rhubarb, hazelnuts), “Alaskan Scallops” (with Jerusalem artichoke, black radish, kaffir lime jus), and “Dutch Milk Fed Veal” (with “Macarie” potato, eggplants, liquorice jus).
