Yoga, Running and Healthy Eating take over The Westin Resort Nusa Dua for Wellness Month this June

Wellness will be a big theme at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, in the month of June, as it is in conjunction with several important events taking place in the same month, including Global Running Day, Global Wellness Day and International Yoga Day.

The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali has planned three wellness-focused activities, influenced by the brand promise to be a destination where guests can manage their well-being and succeed together. “Celebrate Wellness” invites in-house guests and interested members of the local community to feel well, eat well and move well.

Plant-Based Cooking

On Friday, 14 June 2019, the first activity will be a Cooking Demo & HealthyLunch that will surely attract organic food enthusiasts. The activity will be hosted by Indonesian TV host and certified plant-based chef, Sophie Navita. She will be collaborating with the resort's very own Chef Mimin Mintarsih to share the nutritional benefits of plant-based cooking. Guests in attendance will be able to see Sophie's cooking skills and indulge in a delectable two-course lunch. The activity is priced at IDR 395,000nett per person.

Westin Fun Run

The next day, Saturday, 15 June 2019, fitness enthusiasts are encouraged to join the 5K Westin Fun Run at 6.30am. Starting from Bali International Convention Centre, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali, the Westin Fun Run will be followed by a breakfast. The Westin Fun Run will be supported by Indonesian Celebrity Couple, Donna & Darius, both passionate advocates of maintaining a happy and wholesome lifestyle. Tickets are priced at IDR 250,000nett per person and attendees will receive a WestinRun t-shirt and a nutritious breakfast at the Temple Garden by the beach.

Yoga

On Saturday, 22 June 2019, the third and final event will be an inspiring afternoon called 'The Joy of Harmony'. Commencing at 3.30pm in the Nusantara Room, the first activity will be a invigorating session of Vinyasa Yoga, headed by Westin Wellness Manager, Jitendra Pokhriyal.  Then, enjoy a Hatha Yoga session with Anjasmara, famed Indonesian actor, model, yoga instructor, and regular Westin collaborator. Priced at IDR 200,000nett per person, attendees can enjoy refreshments and interact with likeminded yoga practitioners.
